Community Music Center, Inc.
The
Northampton Community Music Center, Inc. (NCMC) was founded
in 1986 on the principle that music education is an
essential part of every child's growth and development. This
past year, the Board of Directors reaffirmed its mission and
set long-term goals in response to blossoming enrollment and
the expansion of community outreach programs. NCMC
fosters the love and pursuit of music within our community
through quality musical education, performances, and
activities that are accessible to all.
Center
for the Arts in Northampton
The
Northampton Center for the Arts is a multi-use arts facility
in the center of downtown Northampton, MA. By maintaining
low-cost rental space for artists and presenters, the Center
helps to provide the community with a vital array of arts
events, from world-class music, theatre and dance
performances to exhibits featuring the works of local and
visiting artists. Among other fundraising programs, NCFA
produces First Night Northampton, bringing together
thousands of people each year on New Years.

Finest Showcase of Independent American Film. The
Northampton Film Festival, held annually in early November,
showcases innovative, independent films and videos from
around the US - shorts and feature films - narrative,
documentary, animation and experimental.

most active arts councils in Massachusetts, we support and
nurture arts activities in the community, allocate arts
lottery funds assigned to Northampton, stimulate public
awareness and support for the arts, and work to maintain and
perpetuate the diverse cultural heritage of Northampton
through the encouragement of ethnic, cultural and folk
artistic expression.

City Arts Festival
The
Paradise City Arts Festivals are a trio of events featuring
fine art and contemporary craft design. Conceived and
produced by working artists from an artist's perspective,
and currently based in New England, these three festivals
have rapidly become some of the most prestigious and
enjoyable juried shows of art, craft and sculpture in the
country today.
